Heart Shape Diamond Solitaire Ring
Heart Cut · Solitaire · CVD · 18K Gold
The most romantic diamond shape in the world — a heart-cut CVD lab diamond, set in a clean solitaire that lets the symbol speak for itself.
Price includes 18K gold setting and IGI certificate · All sizes EU 49–56
The heart cut is the most emotionally expressive of all diamond shapes — a modified brilliant cut with a distinctive cleft at the top and a pointed tip at the base. It requires exceptional skill to cut: the two lobes of the heart must be perfectly symmetrical, and the cleft must be clearly defined for the silhouette to read as a heart at arm's length. Our lab-grown CVD heart diamonds are selected for excellent symmetry — only those with a crisp, well-defined heart shape make it to our collection. Set in a clean solitaire mount in 18K gold, the heart is displayed front and centre, unobstructed by side stones or elaborate metalwork.

Heart Shape Diamond Solitaire Ring
There is no diamond shape more openly romantic than the heart. Where other fancy cuts express sophistication, geometry or vintage glamour, the heart shape expresses one thing purely: love. It takes more skill to cut than any other shape — the two lobes must be identical, the cleft crisp, and the outline perfectly symmetrical — and when done well, the result is a stone that draws an immediate, unmistakable emotional response.
Set in a clean solitaire mount, the heart diamond is given full prominence. The setting lifts the stone so light enters from all sides, animating the brilliant-cut facets that give heart diamonds their warmth and sparkle. Available in 18K white, yellow or rose gold, and in carat weights from 0.50ct to 2.00ct, each stone is D–E colour and VVS/VS clarity — certified by the IGI and grown in a laboratory without mining impact.
Lab-grown CVD heart diamonds give you 50–60% more stone for your budget than a mined equivalent, with the same optical properties and the same grading certificate. A heart-shaped one-carat diamond. A genuine declaration.

Why symmetry is the key specification for heart cuts. A heart diamond is only beautiful when the two lobes are perfectly matched and the cleft is clearly defined. A slightly asymmetric heart reads as a pear or teardrop at arm's length. Every heart diamond in our collection is selected for excellent symmetry, verified by IGI grading. The certificate confirms the shape classification and cutting quality alongside the standard 4Cs.
Caring for Your Heart Shape Solitaire Ring
The heart cut's pointed tip is the detail that requires the most care. The culet — the lowest point of the diamond — is exposed in a solitaire setting, and a hard knock against a surface can chip it. The simplest protection is awareness: remove the ring before any activity involving impact, and store it in the box or pouch when not wearing it.
Cleaning at Home: Soak for two minutes in warm water with a drop of mild dish soap. Use a soft toothbrush to clean around the stone and underneath the setting, where oils accumulate. The heart cut's brilliant facets will sparkle visibly after even a single cleaning. Rinse thoroughly and dry with a lint-free cloth.
Daily Wear: Remove before swimming, applying perfume, moisturiser or hairspray. The solitaire setting is secure, but we recommend an annual professional prong inspection to confirm all prongs are tight — especially the prong that protects the pointed tip.

Love, Set in Diamond
The heart shape says what words sometimes cannot — worn every day, it remains the world's most romantic engagement ring.
Why This Ring
The Heart, Perfected
Everything that makes the Heart Shape Diamond Solitaire Ring a ring worn for a lifetime.
The heart shape is the most overtly romantic of all diamond cuts — a modified brilliant with a distinctive cleft and symmetrical lobes. Selected for excellent symmetry: both lobes matched, the cleft crisp, the silhouette unmistakably a heart from any viewing angle.
A clean solitaire mount that places the heart front and centre. No side stones, no elaborate metalwork — just the diamond, elevated on a simple band, so the heart shape reads clearly and receives all the light it can capture from above and below.
D–E colour ensures the heart diamond is bright white — colourless stones allow the heart silhouette to be read with maximum clarity. VVS/VS clarity ensures the stone is eye-clean. Both confirmed by the IGI grading certificate included with every ring.
Available in white, yellow or rose gold. White gold is the most popular choice for heart diamonds — the cool setting makes the D–E colour grade look its whitest. Yellow and rose gold add warmth and romance. All 18K (750 — 75% pure gold).
Questions
Frequently Asked
Everything you need to know about the Heart Shape Diamond Solitaire Ring before you buy.
The most important factor is symmetry — the two lobes of the heart must be exactly equal in size and shape, and the cleft at the top must be clearly defined. Without this, the heart silhouette reads as a pear or an indistinct shape from a normal viewing distance. We select only heart diamonds with excellent symmetry for our collection. D–E colour also helps: a colourless stone shows the heart outline most crisply against the gold setting. From a carat perspective, heart cut diamonds tend to look most beautiful from 0.50ct upwards, where the shape is large enough to be recognisable on the finger.
Yes — completely real. Lab-grown CVD diamonds are chemically, physically and optically identical to mined diamonds. Both are pure carbon in a cubic crystal lattice. The difference is only origin: mined diamonds formed underground billions of years ago; ours are grown in a controlled chamber over 6–10 weeks. No gemologist can tell them apart by sight or instrument. The IGI grades them to exactly the same standards applied to mined diamonds.
White gold is the most popular choice for heart diamonds: the cool metal emphasises the D–E colour of the stone and lets the heart silhouette read with maximum contrast. Yellow gold creates a romantic, vintage-inflected look — the warmth of the gold works with the emotional symbolism of the heart shape. Rose gold is the most distinctive option — the blush tone adds a modern, feminine softness. All three metals are available in 18K (750). If you are unsure, book a free consultation and we can help you choose based on your skin tone and personal style.
EU ring sizes correspond to the inner circumference of the ring in millimetres. To measure at home, wrap a strip of paper around your finger, mark where it overlaps, and measure the length — that number in mm is your EU size. The most common EU size for women is 52–54. If between sizes, size up. Free resizing is included within 60 days of purchase, so there is no risk in ordering and adjusting. Use our ring sizing guide for a more precise measurement.
The tip of a heart cut diamond — the lowest point, called the culet — is the part most susceptible to chipping if knocked against a hard surface. In a solitaire setting, this tip is exposed. We recommend removing the ring before any activity involving impact — gardening, sport, carrying bags. When storing the ring, place it in the box or pouch rather than loosely with other jewellery. The tip is also the area we inspect at the annual complimentary prong check. With normal care, a heart diamond solitaire wears beautifully for a lifetime.
