Our Story
Grown Lab Diamond was founded in Antwerp, Belgium — the city that has been the world’s diamond trading capital for over 500 years. We grew up surrounded by diamond merchants, cutters, and polishers, and we saw firsthand how the traditional supply chain — mining, exporting, importing, wholesaling, retailing — multiplied the cost of a diamond five to ten times before it reached a customer.
When lab-grown diamond technology matured to produce stones truly indistinguishable from mined diamonds, we saw an opportunity: offer the same exceptional jewellery our customers deserved, at a fraction of the price, with full traceability and zero environmental compromise.
Our Values
We believe that a diamond engagement ring should be one of life’s most meaningful purchases — not one of its most financially stressful ones. Every decision we make is guided by three principles: transparency, quality, and accessibility.
- Transparency: Every diamond carries a GIA or IGI certificate. We share full specifications — Cut, Colour, Clarity, Carat — for every stone before you buy.
- Quality: We stock only Excellent or Very Good cut grades. Every ring is handcrafted and inspected before dispatch.
- Accessibility: Lab-grown diamonds cost 60–80% less than equivalent mined stones. We pass that saving directly to you.
Our Diamonds
We work with both CVD (Chemical Vapour Deposition) and HPHT (High Pressure High Temperature) lab-grown diamonds, selecting the optimal method for each ring design. All diamonds are certified by the GIA (Gemological Institute of America) or IGI (International Gemological Institute) — the same bodies that certify mined diamonds.
