The Halo Pear — Unique, Dramatic, Unforgettable
The pear shape is the most dramatic and individual diamond silhouette — part round, part marquise, combining the brilliance of a round brilliant with the elegant elongation of a point. No two pear cuts are identical, and no ring wearing a pear diamond will ever go unnoticed. Its teardrop form is at once tender and bold, romantic and avant-garde.
When surrounded by a diamond halo, the pear shape becomes even more breathtaking. The halo traces the silhouette of the stone, amplifying its unique outline and adding a continuous blaze of brilliance along its entire perimeter — from the rounded base to the pointed tip. In 950 platinum, the setting's cool white lustre enhances every facet, allowing the diamond to radiate its full fire and scintillation.
The pear-shaped centre stone and all halo diamonds are certified D–F colourless, VS1–VS2 clarity. GIA or IGI report, free engraving, and 60-day returns included as standard.

"She had admired a pear halo ring in a magazine for years. I found this, ordered the 2.0ct, and when she opened the box she was completely speechless. The platinum setting is immaculate."
"The 1.0ct in the halo setting looks enormous — easily double the visual size. The IGI certificate was verified online and everything matched perfectly. This is luxury at a completely accessible price."
"We watched the 360° video at least twenty times before ordering. The ring in person is even more beautiful than the video. The platinum catches light in a way that makes the halo appear to glow."
The pear cut — also called the teardrop — combines the rounded base of an oval with the elegant pointed tip of a marquise. It has 58 brilliant-style facets delivering exceptional sparkle, and its asymmetric shape creates a distinctive, elongating effect on the finger. No two pear cuts are identical in their exact proportions, giving each stone its own individual character.
Traditionally, the pear is worn with the point facing toward the fingertip, which maximises the elongating effect on the finger. Some wearers choose to orient it with the point toward the hand — this is entirely a matter of personal preference. Our setting is designed to look beautiful in either orientation.
The halo setting surrounds and partially protects the pointed tip of the pear, reducing the risk of chipping compared to a prong-only solitaire. The platinum V-claw at the tip provides additional protection. We recommend removing the ring for heavy manual activities as a general precaution for any pointed diamond shape.
The halo traces the outline of the pear shape, adding a border of brilliant diamonds that dramatically increases the apparent size and visual impact of the ring. A 1.0ct pear in a halo setting can easily appear equivalent to a 1.5–2.0ct solitaire, offering exceptional visual value.
The pear has been worn by royalty and celebrities throughout history and is experiencing a strong renaissance in modern bridal jewellery. It offers the most distinctive silhouette of any diamond shape — ideal for those who want something bold, beautiful, and completely individual rather than the traditional round or oval.
